Main project features:

Assessment of the flash flood, storm drainage capacity, provision for collecting water from the nearest river from the project area.

Activities performed:

  • Collected primary water level data through bathymetric surveys.
  • Conducted site visits to verify river discharge data and monitor topographic surveys.
  • Simulated systems and assessed project area capacity using hydraulic and hydrologic modeling tools such as HEC-RAS.
  • Gathered secondary water level, rainfall, and groundwater data from BWDB, DPHE, and BMD, along with secondary DEM data.
